Anatomy
Anatomy is the study of the structure of the body. The word "anatomy" is originally derived from Greek and refers to the scientific process of slicing (Greek: cut anatemnein =), which helps you gain important insights into the structure of the human body.
It comes in the anatomy first important to know all the details and record the location of each entity to each other (topographic anatomy). However, does not exhaust the anatomy in the pure description of the human body: rather, it tries to figure out the relationship between functionally linked parts. The result is the summary of systems (systematic anatomy).
In the human organism is a principle of order, are grouped according to which each of the individual parts into units of higher order. This starts at the single molecule results in the cells of tissues, organs, organ systems and ultimately to the body as a whole. Structures which can be seen without optical aids to the naked eye, belong to the field of gross anatomy (Greek: macro = large). Structures that are no longer recognizable without aid to be under the term of the microscopic anatomy (Greek: small microscopic =) activities.
Specialties of the cell anatomy of honor (cytology), the histology (histology) and the history of development (embryology).
"The structure and the functional systems of the human body":
Each human body can be divided according to different points of view: He may, in its morphological structure (Greek: morph = form) are different, ie, after its forms and structures. But it can also be divided according to functional systems, that is for body parts that meet each of the same tasks.
The form and structure theory (morphology) divided the human body into three sections: head, torso and limbs. On these sections the face, neck, back, chest, abdomen and limbs (extremities) distinction. The body is from the skin (cutis) are covered, including serving as a protective layer, an organ of elimination in relation to the skin glands and as a receiver for external stimuli. While the limbs are primarily used to support and movement, contain the head and body metabolism, control and reproductive organs.
According to their different functions, we distinguish the following main systems of the human body: the system for support and movement with his muscular and skeletal systems, control systems, by which the nervous and endocrine system and sensory organs including the reproductive system and the metabolic systems to the blood and blood circulation, the skin and the respiratory, digestive and urinary system.
One may say in conclusion that the anatomy of the human body is an interesting matter, with one thing in itself: The explored knowledge of something very special - the people!
